Is it too loud at home to read? Are you curious about what everyone else is reading? Come to the library once a month and join our reading retreat – a room free of young children and (most) other distractions. All books are real books – bring your current read, whether it’s and audiobook, e-book, or hard copy. Meet the group, do some quiet reading, then share what yours like about your book or sit back and listen to others. Oh, and we have snacks.

Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to join us for Community Chess Club! Instructor Tai Wong assists our beginners as they learn the rules and begin their chess journey. Chess sets are provided.

Ripon Veterinary Clinic puts on a a monthly vaccine clinic every 3rd Saturday of the month from 1pm-3pm. It is first come first served!

Join Deb Tornell and Linda Curtins in the art room as the guide you through the process of creating your own works of art. Use your own designs or provided templates in rock painting. This is a free class and sign-ups are located at the Center bulletin board. Rocks, paint, ect. will be provided for the first class but if you have a rock you would like to use be sure to wash it well and bring it along.

Young at Hearth Strength Training Classes are designed for older individuals and is open to those 50 yr and above. Classes are led by certified instructors who with the use of exercise bands, aim to improve balance and strength to help reduce fall risks.
